We are committed to the nurturing, protection and safeguarding of children and young people. Our <a href=\"http:\/\/fryerns.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/CHURCH-CHILD-PROTECTION-POLICY-STATEMENT.pdf\">church-child-protection-policy-statement<\/a>. (A copy of our full policy can be seen at the church office)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Sunday Worship may begin with corporate worship and later children will branch off into <strong><span style=\"color: #00ff00;\">Sunday School<\/span><\/strong>. Our Sunday School system is available for children between the ages of 3 and 12 years. The facility enables parents to attend the morning worship service, while their children are being taught to value and treasure God&#8217;s Word.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">There are\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Youth Group<\/span>\u00a0meetings during the week on Fridays for older children and teenagers.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-24 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/fryerns.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/DSC_3324.jpg?resize=300%2C198\" alt=\"DSC_3324\" width=\"300\" height=\"198\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/fryerns.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/DSC_3324.jpg?resize=300%2C198&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/fryerns.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/DSC_3324.jpg?w=1000&amp;ssl=1 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/li>\n<li>September 2016 Fryerns over 12s youth group meetings restarted. Meetings take place once a month on Fridays (come over to church on Sunday for details)<\/li>\n<li>July 2015 Sunday school <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/details\/FryernsSundaySchoolScriptureMemorisations\" target=\"_blank\">scripture memorisations<\/a> of children between the ages 4 years to 11 years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Easter 2015<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<pre style=\"text-align: justify;\">Easter Sunday 2015 was an encouragement at Fryerns Baptist Church as the believers focused on the power of the cross and Christ\u2019s death, burial and resurrection. The family service was\u00a0 led by Ian Jemmett and focused on the resurrection of Christ and the new life we have in Christ.<\/pre>\n<pre style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Sunday school and children\u2019s department which currently consists of children under the age of 12 years were enthusiastic in joining in the family service. They <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/details\/ChildrensHymnsAtFryernsBaptistChurch\" target=\"_blank\">sang hymns<\/a> (click <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/details\/ChildrensHymnsAtFryernsBaptistChurch\" target=\"_blank\">on link<\/a>) in praise to God and recited memory verses they had learnt. Benie (8 years) recited Psalm 121:1-8; Shauna (7 years) recited 1 John 5:18 and Galatians 3:9 and Chaelle (8 years) 1 Cor 10:13 and John 3:36. This was capped with a group recitation of PSALM 23 including Toluwalase (8years) plus the youngest member of the children\u2019s ministry Hephzibah (4 years). This Easter all members of the children\u2019s Sunday school department\u00a0 each received a Bible as a gift. We pray and hope that they will continue to know God\u2019s blessing as they continue to read and listen to the preaching of the word of God.
